ANTHONY JONES
HEAD TRAINER / DIRECTOR , BASKETBALL OPERATIONS
Coach Anthony grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and played for Speedway High School where he was 6'4 Point Guard who was known for both his shooting and ability to get to, and finish, above the rim. Anthony finished his high school career as the All-Time Points Leader at Speedway Highschool with 1,446 total points, which is still the record. While in Indiana, Anthony was selected and played for the well-known, EG10 National Team (AAU) on the Adidas Gauntlet playing for legendary coach Pat Mullin. After High School, Anthony stayed near home and played for IUPUI in Indianapolis and then finished his undergraduate college career at Division 1 Western Illinois University. Anthony used a graduate year and finished his collegiate playing career at Northwestern Oklahoma State. After his college career, Anthony continued his professional playing career playing overseas for Luxembourg in Germany. HIGHLIGHT VIDEO
A word from Anthony: It’s always been my goal and dream to play at a high level and professionally. I’ve been fortunate to learn the game from several great coaches and trainers and reached all of my goals. I’m excited to pass on the knowledge and experience that I have gained and to help our players become better people and reach their goals through basketball and M14Hoops!
JAKE ANTCZAK
FULL TIME TRAINER & PRIVATE INSTRUCTOR
Coach Jake grew up in Mukwonago Wisconsin, a town 20 minutes outside of Milwaukee. He began playing basketball at a young age. He graduated from Mukwonago High School and went on to play his first two years of basketball at UW-Waukesha, a Junior College in the area. While there his team went to two Wisconsin Collegiate Conference Final Fours and won a WCC Championship. Jake was a two year starter and named to the All-Conference team along with the All-Defensive team in his second year. He transferred to Wisconsin Lutheran College to finish out his collegiate career. He also had the opportunity to compete on the football team his senior year at Wisconsin Lutheran. Throughout his college career he developed his love for the game of basketball along with his passion for helping others.
Coach Jake graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran in May of 2023.
A word from Jake: Basketball is a game that can teach so many lessons and bring people together. From previous coaches I have had, I have seen how they used the game to positively impact their players' lives. I hope to do the same and M14Hoops Milwaukee gives me that opportunity.
MATT MILLER
FOUNDER
Miller grew up in Aurora, IL and played basketball collegiately and professionally before starting the brand. On September 23rd, 2009 Matt started M14Hoops. The company was founded on the principles of hard work, dedication, teamwork and dreaming big! His love and dedication to bringing basketball into children’s lives shows in how he runs the company and manages his coaches.
By 2014, M14Hoops was the #1 company for player development in the western suburbs. The company had grown to training over 500 players annually. In 2018, M14Hoops the facility officially opened in Aurora, IL. With the facility officially opening, M14Hoops increased their ability to develop basketball players by starting teams as well as offering speed, agility, and strength training. The facility offers complete player development both on and off the court.
A word from Matt: In those early days, I didn’t have a clue about business. I just wanted to help each player I came in contact with get better. It was an obsession. I constantly studied the game of basketball, athletic movements, communication and tried to perfect my craft to the best of my ability.
The M14Hoops Chicagoland location now trains over 3,000 players annually and the impact on the western suburbs of Chicago has continued to grow tremendously. M14Hoops Chicago offers not only training, but teams as well as speed and agility training for complete player development. With over 20 employees in place to manage day to day operations; M14Hoops has a great team in place and looks forward to a bright future of training youth basketball players!
